Wow this video really set me straight I'm not ever texting and driving again. This video goes to show you that all it takes is that one text, that one split second for an accident to happen. I've been in a bad car accident myself a couple of years ago so I can relate to this as well. The accident I was in wasn't because of texting but this video brought back some scary memories. From now on cell phone stays off when I'm driving a text message isn't worth your life and people need to learn patience again. After seeing this video it did change my mind about texting and driving, I"ll never do it again. In my opinion this video is relevant to any age group of drivers. I think this video is very powerful and the truth is scary to accept sometimes. This video is an effective tool for reaching all texters of our universe to STOP being obsessive smartphone users.
Wow, great response! I know it was scary, but it does make a point. Sorry to hear about your previous accident, but hopefully this will help in the future. Just remember when you feel like texting, think of this video.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the video set you straight, this is exactly why everyone should watch this video. All it takes is a split second and there can be many catastrophes. Imagine putting yourself in her shoes, I would feel devastated, knowing that i have ruined and probably even killed people. Good job on you're answers, i agree with you.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the drivers it only takes one fool not paying attention to the road for something to happen. I agree with your answers and hopefully this video or something like this will be shown to pre drivers.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this video has had a very powerful impact on my perception of texting and driving. I cannot even begin to imagine how you must have felt watching this video when you have been in an accident yourself. Just the thought of it really traumatizes me and I can't imagine what you must have been through. I do agree that this video should be publicized a lot more because just like it impacted you and I, it can impact many others as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything you had to say as anything can happen in that one split second, which is why it is important for drivers to pay attention to the road at all times. Even if someone can pay attention while driving, a different driver could not be and that could still lead to an accident. In general when on the road, one should realize their driving is not only affecting themselves but everyone else on the road as well. Im glad this video had a huge impact on you, as watching this video can definitely bring up scary images in anyone's head.
